Post High Planning Checklist - It's never too early to start planning for your future!
Take challenging classes in core academic subjects. Many schools also require 2 years of a foreign language or a year of fine arts.
Update you 4-year course plan. If you failed any course that was not made up in summer school, see your counselor and make a plan to retake those classes as soon as possible.
Extra Curricular Activities - Being active in school and the community is highly recommended for college admission. Employers and colleges desire individuals who can work with others and can make a contribution to those around them. Get involved in school activities and clubs.
Sign up for college presentations with any counselor in GRAC, before school or during recess. All college presentations are posted in GRAC, on the GRAC Calendar and the daily bulletin. Students attending college presentations are responsible for all work missed from their class.
