What is the SAT?
Reasoning test that measures critical thinking skills
Assesses how well students analyze and solve problems -- skills learned in high school that are needed for college
Why should I take it?
Virtually all four-year colleges and universities accept the SAT for admissions purposes
Some scholarships also require submission of SAT scores
Details
Recommended for 11th and 12th grade
Testing takes approximately four (4) hours
Fee waivers are available
Registration is available on-line at
www.sat.org
